Class Descriptions

 

Gentle Yoga   This class is appropriate for students who enjoy a gentle class as well as for those who                                      experience physical limitations.

                    

 Level I       For the Beginner & ongoing Beginner.

Information, postures & breathing techniques are presented to reduce stress & increase strength, flexibility & balance.

 

Mixed Levels     An All-levels Class

 

Level II      An intellectually & physically demanding class for students with a self-practice & a working knowledge of Yoga philosophy & asana.  We use Surya Namaskars A&B and the 1st Six Standing Postures from the Ashtanga Vinyasa Method as the main asana practice.  Instructor permission is required.

 

Yoga-Meditation for Stress Management     A 4-week series of classes integrating philosophy & practice of Yoga.

 

Introduction to Yoga      The Basics of Yoga philosophy, postures, breathwork & meditation.  This a 4-week series of classes designed for Beginners, yet, experienced practitioners will enjoy the review.

 

 

All Yoga classes include a relaxation period at the end of the session.

 

Meditation - half-hour sessions. Meditation classes are in the Kriya Yoga tradition.

 

Private, semi-private & corporate sessions are available upon request.

Breathing Seminars may be scheduled at our site or yours.
