The course includes an
in-depth knowledge of the meaning of stress & offers special techniques
& methods for dealing with it. These include simple Yoga “asanas”,
relaxation exercises, different kinds of breathing & guided Meditation, to
suit different levels of practice.
The course is firmly
grounded in a holistic approach to MIND, BODY & SOUL relationship
experienced through the backdrop of eastern philosophical traditions. The
sessions are geared towards sharpening one’s own inner resources & coping
styles to work effectively in present times of crisis & instability.
Potentially, one can expect to achieve the comfort of reduced stress,
prevention of physical ailments & an overall peace of mind.
Dr. Vijaya Rao has been practicing
Yoga & Meditation from the age of 7. Being the only daughter of parents who
practiced daily and believed in its effectiveness for happiness, she was
exposed to it for regular practice. Vijaya’s practice & teaching is
influenced predominantly by the writings of Swami Vivekananda and Swami Shivananda.
Her teaching reflects a blend of thoughtful selections from different gurus,
while maintaining a holistic approach to MIND-BODY-SOUL. Click
